MY PIANO CAME WITH A 10 YEAR NEW WARRANTY WHICH I CAN PASS ON WHEN I SELL IT!
False! Not at all - warranties are primarily a benefit of buying new and are only valid between the retail distributor to the original new purchaser. It may be impressive that the instrument is being sold young within it's warranty period but these cannot be passed on to the next owner - unless the seller wants to carry the responsibilities of the warranty themselves?
IT"S GOT A GERMAN SOUNDING NAME, IT MUST BE EUROPEAN!
Not at all! If it's cheap it is likely to be from an Asian manufacturing copy-cat company selling on the very good name of the 'master artisans'. By law a piano must have the country of manufacturer embossed on the new instrument visibly. Check it out before you buy!
